Professional Hair Color Correction in Las Vegas

Specialist correction for brassy, patchy or unwanted color.

Plan for about 4 hours

1280 S Jones Blvd, Suite 120 · Las Vegas, NV

Color correction is the work of undoing something: a home color that grabbed too dark, lightened bands that turned orange, or patchy lift from an earlier salon visit. It is the most technical color service we offer, and the one where a plan matters most.

Correction starts with an assessment and usually a strand test. We look at what is on your hair now, how many applications it has been through, and how much your hair can safely take in one sitting. From there we map the sequence: sometimes lifting first, sometimes filling and re-toning, sometimes removing depth before any lightness goes back in.

Most corrections cannot be finished in a single appointment. Moving from dark to blonde, evening out banding, or neutralizing a strong orange or red tone often takes two or more visits spaced a few weeks apart, with conditioning in between. We tell you that at the consultation rather than at the shampoo bowl.

Hair integrity guides every decision. If a formula would push your hair past what it can manage, we say so and adjust the plan. Hair that takes two appointments consistently looks better than hair that was rushed through one.

We also work with plenty of clients who colored at home and want a professional reset. Bring the boxes, or a photo of the products you used, if you still have them. It takes a lot of the guesswork out of the first appointment.

Why clients choose this service

Orange and brassy tones neutralized

Underlying warmth is corrected deliberately instead of covered with another layer of color.

Uneven, patchy color blended

Banding and missed sections are softened so the result reads as one natural shade.

Dark to blonde, mapped out

We plan the number of sessions and the in-between care before we start lifting.

Hair integrity comes first

Pace and product are chosen around what your hair can tolerate, not the quickest route.

Keeping it beautiful between visits

  • Leave the recommended two to four weeks between correction sessions so your hair can recover.
  • Follow the color-safe wash routine we give you, and do not over-shampoo.
  • Use a weekly moisture mask, particularly in Las Vegas's dry air.
  • Limit heat styling and always use a heat protectant so the corrected tone stays even.

Color Correction — common questions

Will my color correction be fixed in one appointment?
Sometimes, for small corrections. Moving several levels lighter, lifting through old box color or evening out significant banding usually takes more than one visit. You will hear a realistic number at your consultation.
Why is color correction priced and timed differently from regular color?
A correction is rarely one formula. It can involve color removal, lifting, filling and re-toning in a single visit, and the product and time needed vary from client to client. We quote after seeing your hair in person.
Can you fix orange or brassy tone?
Usually, yes. Orange and brass come from the underlying pigment left behind after lightening. We neutralize those tones on purpose rather than layering more color over them.
Can you correct patchy color done at another salon?
Yes. If your hair was lightened very recently we may ask you to wait a couple of weeks, so the color has settled and we are not working on a moving target.
I colored my hair at home. Can it still be corrected?
In most cases. Tell us what you used and when. Some box colors, particularly very dark shades, need to be removed before corrective work can begin.
Will a color correction damage my hair?
Lightening and color removal do ask something of your hair. We test and pace the work, recommend conditioning between sessions, and will decline a step that puts your hair at risk.
